We are so excited for this new school year, and we are looking forward to seeing old and new faces as we all get back into routines. We have two great options for our youth to dive into God's word.
Study of Book of Philippians in Sunday School.
> Contented or complaining?
> What's the key to joy?
> How do I handle anxiety?
>> Teens have questions? God’s Word has answers!
Philippians is a favorite book of the Bible for teens of all ages—great for those who don’t know the Lord and treasured by those who’ve walked with him since they were young. We'll equip our youth students to “shine as lights in the world,” “hold fast to the word of life,” and “count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Jesus Christ our Lord.”
This is an excellent study for all teens, including middle and high school students. The first six sessions focus on learning Bible study skills while learning life-changing truths. You will never read the Bible the same way again!
Each week, we plan on meeting in the youth room together sharing stories, praises and prayers from the week, enjoy fellowship and games together. Then, we'll separate into middle and high school rooms to learn about the spirit of joy and contentment by exploring the Word of God in the book of Philippians.

The Chosen Series on Wednesday Nights
On Wednesday nights the youth are diving into The Chosen series. They are watching part of an episode and then discussing and comparing it to the Bible. Our goal is to relate to the characters' struggles, discuss how we can deal with them in comparison to the characters, and then — with the Holy Spirit and God's word — be able to discern what are the truths found in each episode.
The Chosen is on Amazon, Peacock TV, and free on your phone's app store. We encourage families to watch the entire episode together. Some weeks family discussion questions will come home to help facilitate discussions.
