Youth Summer Mission Trip

Calling all MOBC Youth! Our Youth Ministry has announced the details of the 2026 Youth Summer Mission Trip!

When: July 19th - July 25th

Where: Buffalo, NY

For: Rising 6th graders to graduated 12th graders

Cost: Free!

Youth will be going to Buffalo, New York to serve with 8 Days of Hope. 8 Days of Hope shares the love of Jesus by providing physical assistance to families who are in need. We will be serving families who need home repair which could include landscaping, painting, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. 8 days of hope welcomes all ages and skill levels! This is a great way to love our neighbor, and tell them why God’s love motivates us to serve others. 

Every day starts and ends with a time of worship and devotion. There will also be two free concerts during the week: Terrain on Monday night and Band Reeves on Thursday night. Rising 6th graders through graduated 12th graders, please join us for a time of mission, work, fellowship, and fun!

We will leave Mt. Olivet baptist church at 8:00am on Sunday July the 19th, and we will be back the evening of Saturday July 25th. Transportation will be provided by the church. 8 Days of hope provides all meals, snacks, and lodging. This trip is free to participate in! Please see Nick Thurston by May 10th if you are interested in going. He will answer specific questions and help get everyone registered.
